Adam Thoroughgood Chapter, NSDAR

Virginia Beach chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, part of District I of the Virginia state society. Named for Adam Thoroughgood, early colonist of the Virginia Beach area. Publishes histories of the Thoroughgood House and Francis Land House. The chapter serves its community through historic preservation, education, and patriotic work.

Schedule: Monthly meetings, September through May, in Virginia Beach
How to join
Membership is open to women 18 and older who can document lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution. Membership details are on the chapter website.
