Alleghany Chapter, NSDAR

Blacksburg chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, part of District VII of the Virginia state society. Nearly 80 members, ages twenty-something to over ninety. The chapter serves its community through historic preservation, education, and patriotic work.

Schedule: First Thursday at 1:30 p.m., most months September through May
How to join
Membership is open to women 18 and older who can document lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution. Membership details are on the chapter website.
