American Legion Post 100

AccomackMilitaryFraternal

Parksley post of the American Legion, Post 100. Part of the First District of the Department of Virginia. One of the newer posts on the Eastern Shore rather than a legacy WWI/WWII charter: a Cape Charles Wave article (Dec 2013) reported the post organizing from scratch, with an initial members' meeting held at the Parksley Scout Hut on January 23, 2014. Reported 40 members to the Department in June 2026. Members are wartime veterans who support fellow veterans and their families, run youth and Americanism programs, and take part in community service.
