Virginia Beach post of the American Legion, Post 113, known as the Princess Anne Post. Part of the Second District of the Department of Virginia. Hosts an annual 'Law and Order Day' ceremony naming Virginia Beach's Firefighter, Deputy, Police Officer, and EMT of the Year -- covered independently by WTKR news and the honored departments' own Facebook pages (Fire, EMS, Sheriff's Office). Reported 64 members to the Department in June 2026. Members are wartime veterans who support fellow veterans and their families, run youth and Americanism programs, and take part in community service.

Schedule: 2nd Wednesday of each month, 6:30 PM (general meeting); 3rd Wednesday, 7:45 AM breakfast at Denny's

How to join
Membership is open to veterans who served on active duty during a recognised war era and were honourably discharged, and to those still serving. Details are on the post website.
