American Legion Post 13

Staunton post of the American Legion, Post 13, known as the Clemmer-McGuffin Post. Part of the Fourteenth District of the Department of Virginia. WHSV (local TV news) covered Post 13's 2025 Memorial Day program, which featured wreaths from multiple community organizations and recognition of Gold Star mothers. The post rents its hall out. Reported 116 members to the Department in June 2026. Members are wartime veterans who support fellow veterans and their families, run youth and Americanism programs, and take part in community service.
