Falls Church post of the American Legion, Post 130. Part of the Seventeenth District of the Department of Virginia. Runs a lineup of distinctly non-generic signature events — Lizzie Borden Axe Throwing, an annual Back Yard Bash, and a Gaming Gala/Halloween Dance — alongside a Turkey Bowl and Thanksgiving dinner. The post rents its hall out. Reported 206 members to the Department in June 2026. Members are wartime veterans who support fellow veterans and their families, run youth and Americanism programs, and take part in community service.

How to join
Membership is open to veterans who served on active duty during a recognised war era and were honourably discharged, and to those still serving. Details are on the post website.
