American Legion Post 136

Petersburg post of the American Legion, Post 136, known as the Ettrick Post. Part of the Eleventh District of the Department of Virginia. A neighboring post's district meeting minutes (post146.org) record that Post 136 sought a district donation to help cover operating expenses and repair its post home's roof, suggesting a small post carrying an aging building. Reported 6 members to the Department in June 2026. Members are wartime veterans who support fellow veterans and their families, run youth and Americanism programs, and take part in community service.
