American Legion Post 149

Dinwiddie post of the American Legion, Post 149. Part of the Fourth District of the Department of Virginia. Sponsors a Senior American Legion Baseball team (19-and-under) through the Old Hickory Baseball Club, registered for both the 2024 and 2025 seasons. Reported 49 members to the Department in June 2026. Members are wartime veterans who support fellow veterans and their families, run youth and Americanism programs, and take part in community service.

Schedule: 4th Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM (members may arrive at 6:00 PM to order from the menu)

How to join
Membership is open to veterans who served on active duty during a recognised war era and were honourably discharged, and to those still serving. Contact the post by email for details.
