Chantilly post of the American Legion, Post 1995, known as the Centreville Post. Part of the Seventeenth District of the Department of Virginia. Chartered in 1994. Continuing its long partnership with the Cub Run Scouting district, Post 1995 presented its 2026 Legion Scouter of the Year award to longtime Cubmaster and Eastern Orthodox faith awards coordinator Elias El Hage, and separately hosts an annual Female Veterans Wine Tasting at a Bull Run winery. Reported 211 members to the Department in June 2026. Members are wartime veterans who support fellow veterans and their families, run youth and Americanism programs, and take part in community service.

How to join
Membership is open to veterans who served on active duty during a recognised war era and were honourably discharged, and to those still serving. Details are on the post website.
