American Legion Post 2003

Scottsville post of the American Legion, Post 2003, known as the Fluvanna County Post. Part of the Thirteenth District of the Department of Virginia. Chartered in 2003 -- the post's number matches its founding year, per its own site ('Since our charter in 2003...') -- and its commander sells raffle tickets and recruits at the annual Fluvanna Fall Festival. Reported 105 members to the Department in June 2026. Members are wartime veterans who support fellow veterans and their families, run youth and Americanism programs, and take part in community service.
