American Legion Post 204

Virginia BeachMilitaryFraternal

Virginia Beach post of the American Legion, Post 204, known as the Dalton Cartier Post. Part of the Second District of the Department of Virginia. Has no clubhouse of its own -- meets at Post 327's hall and area restaurants -- but Virginian-Pilot obituaries naming members as 'Dalton-Cartier Post 204' run continuously from at least 1962 through 2021, showing decades of unbroken operation despite never having a building. Reported 15 members to the Department in June 2026. Members are wartime veterans who support fellow veterans and their families, run youth and Americanism programs, and take part in community service.
