Goochland post of the American Legion, Post 215. Part of the Thirteenth District of the Department of Virginia. The 5,000-square-foot hall seats 150 in the main room (plus two smaller meeting spaces) and includes a 'Never Forgotten' memorial display honoring local veterans' service. The post rents its hall out. Reported 96 members to the Department in June 2026. Members are wartime veterans who support fellow veterans and their families, run youth and Americanism programs, and take part in community service.

Schedule: 3rd Tuesday of each month, colors/ceremony at 6:00 PM, potluck dinner at 6:30 PM

How to join
Membership is open to veterans who served on active duty during a recognised war era and were honourably discharged, and to those still serving. Details are on the post website.
