Sandston post of the American Legion, Post 242. Part of the Eleventh District of the Department of Virginia. Registered with the state as 'Sandston Post No. 242, The American Legion, Incorporated' and referenced by name in Henrico County's own official parade-entry rules document. Reported 93 members to the Department in June 2026. Members are wartime veterans who support fellow veterans and their families, run youth and Americanism programs, and take part in community service.

How to join
