American Legion Post 260

Keysville post of the American Legion, Post 260. Part of the Fifth District of the Department of Virginia. Meets over a potluck-style dinner at a local restaurant rather than in a post-owned hall, and fields its own Honor Guard (per a 2018 Charlotte Gazette officer announcement listing an Honor Guard Commander); recently donated to the Piedmont Area Veterans Council, a regional veteran-services nonprofit. Reported 31 members to the Department in June 2026. Members are wartime veterans who support fellow veterans and their families, run youth and Americanism programs, and take part in community service.
