American Legion Post 269

Cumberland post of the American Legion, Post 269, known as the Henry Pfeiffer Post. Part of the Tenth District of the Department of Virginia. Regularly joins neighboring Farmville-area American Legion and VFW posts for shared community events, per its own Facebook page. Reported 32 members to the Department in June 2026. Members are wartime veterans who support fellow veterans and their families, run youth and Americanism programs, and take part in community service.
