Madison Heights post of the American Legion, Post 274. Part of the Tenth District of the Department of Virginia. Chartered in 1969. Reported giving nearly $30,000 in community grants in 2023, per its IRS Form 990 filings (Instrumentl/Cause IQ). Reported 61 members to the Department in June 2026. Members are wartime veterans who support fellow veterans and their families, run youth and Americanism programs, and take part in community service.
