Danville post of the American Legion, Post 325. Part of the Sixth District of the Department of Virginia. Chartered in 1946. Its hall doubles as a public rental venue - the site has a dedicated 'RENTAL INFO' section with photos of past events held there - alongside a full internal calendar of Legion Riders meetings, an SAL country breakfast, and a monthly steak-supper post meeting. The post rents its hall out. Reported 156 members to the Department in June 2026. Members are wartime veterans who support fellow veterans and their families, run youth and Americanism programs, and take part in community service.

How to join
Membership is open to veterans who served on active duty during a recognised war era and were honourably discharged, and to those still serving. Details are on the post website.
