American Legion Post 354

Midlothian post of the American Legion, Post 354, known as the James River Post. Part of the Eleventh District of the Department of Virginia. Chartered in 1949. Runs an annual Crabfeast now in its 51st-52nd year, plus the RVA Bluegrass Jam fundraiser benefiting Fisher House and Liberation Veteran Services, and organizes flag placements at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Amelia. The post rents its hall out. Reported 207 members to the Department in June 2026. Members are wartime veterans who support fellow veterans and their families, run youth and Americanism programs, and take part in community service.
