Norfolk post of the American Legion, Post 5, known as the Crispus Attucks Post. Part of the Second District of the Department of Virginia. Runs its own Legion Riders motorcycle chapter with a separate Facebook page, 'Crispus Attucks Legion Riders Post 5.'. Reported 75 members to the Department in June 2026. Members are wartime veterans who support fellow veterans and their families, run youth and Americanism programs, and take part in community service.

How to join
Membership is open to veterans who served on active duty during a recognised war era and were honourably discharged, and to those still serving. Contact the post by email for details.
