American Legion Post 53

Front Royal post of the American Legion, Post 53, known as the Giles B. Cook Post. Part of the Fifteenth District of the Department of Virginia. Sponsors American Legion baseball for Front Royal-area players ages 14-19, reviving a program that had lapsed, and sponsored member entries in the 2026 Warren County Fair karaoke competition. Reported 305 members to the Department in June 2026. Members are wartime veterans who support fellow veterans and their families, run youth and Americanism programs, and take part in community service.
