Dublin post of the American Legion, Post 58. Part of the Seventh District of the Department of Virginia. Founded around 2009 with the Legion-minimum 15 members and grown to roughly 54, the post spent about four months in 2018-19 renovating and moving into the lower level of the Henry Clay Masonic Lodge, then hosted a public vendor-and-craft fundraiser fair there that September. Reported 71 members to the Department in June 2026. Members are wartime veterans who support fellow veterans and their families, run youth and Americanism programs, and take part in community service.

Meeting information
Schedule: 1st Thursday of each month; dinner at 6 p.m. followed by a business meeting ending around 7:30 p.m.

How to join
Membership is open to veterans who served on active duty during a recognised war era and were honourably discharged, and to those still serving. Reach the post through its Facebook page.
