Pulaski post of the American Legion, Post 7. Part of the Seventh District of the Department of Virginia. Organized in June 1919 by just six charter signers, the post was cited by the Department of Virginia for its 1924 membership drive and had built a $2,200 building fund from carnival fundraisers held in 1923 and 1924. Reported 71 members to the Department in June 2026. Members are wartime veterans who support fellow veterans and their families, run youth and Americanism programs, and take part in community service.

How to join
Membership is open to veterans who served on active duty during a recognised war era and were honourably discharged, and to those still serving. Reach the post through its Facebook page.
