American Legion Post 81

Virginia Beach post of the American Legion, Post 81, known as the George Washington Carver Post. Part of the Second District of the Department of Virginia. Goes by 'Liberty American Legion Post 81' and regularly partners with the JEB Little Creek-Fort Story Navy base MWR and Naval Station Norfolk on veteran events, and named a Chesapeake Fire Department firefighter its 2026 Firefighter of the Year. Reported 24 members to the Department in June 2026. Members are wartime veterans who support fellow veterans and their families, run youth and Americanism programs, and take part in community service.
