American Legion Post 89

King George post of the American Legion, Post 89, known as the Ratcliff-Owens-Sumner Post. Part of the Twelfth District of the Department of Virginia. Sponsors an American Legion junior baseball team fielded under the Post 89 name, per the Legion's national team registry (register.legion.org). Reported 90 members to the Department in June 2026. Members are wartime veterans who support fellow veterans and their families, run youth and Americanism programs, and take part in community service.
