Appalachian Trail Chapter, NSDAR

Hillsville chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, part of District IV of the Virginia state society. Awards DAR Good Citizens scholarships at Carroll County and Galax high schools. Hosts tea parties at the Hale Wilkerson Carter Home in downtown Hillsville. The chapter serves its community through historic preservation, education, and patriotic work.
How to join
Membership is open to women 18 and older who can document lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution. Membership details are on the chapter website.
