Arlington Host Lions Club

Arlington club of Lions Clubs International, part of Virginia District 24-L. Chartered in 1936. Co-founded the Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center of Northern Virginia in 1998, after members drove to Roanoke to study an existing center and secured a $10,000 Lions Clubs International Foundation grant to start one in Northern Virginia. Members raise funds for sight and hearing care and carry out service projects in their community.

Schedule: 1st and 3rd Tuesdays at noon at Washington Golf and Country Club

How to join
Membership is open to adults who want to serve their community; prospective members are welcome at a meeting. Details are on the club website.
