Ruritan club serving Beaverdam in Hanover County. Chartered in 1951. Runs the annual B'dam Brew JAM Craft Beer & Music Festival, the Independence Day parade and celebration, and an Easter Sunrise Service; also gives Beaverdam Ruritan Club scholarships and supports the local fire & rescue squad and Western Hanover Emergency Action Team (W.H.E.A.T.). Ruritan is a rural and small-town service organization founded in Holland, Virginia in 1928, built on fellowship, goodwill and community service.
