Bergton Ruritan Club

Ruritan club serving Bergton in Rockingham County. Chartered in 1950. Helped establish the Bergton Rescue Squad in 1975 and backed construction of the Bergton Fire Department in 1987; funds have also gone to the Bergton Community Center. Celebrated 75 years of service in 2025. Ruritan is a rural and small-town service organization founded in Holland, Virginia in 1928, built on fellowship, goodwill and community service.
