Black's Fort Chapter, NSDAR

Abingdon chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, part of District IV of the Virginia state society. Organized in 1921. Named for the fort where Washington County's first court met in 1776. The chapter serves its community through historic preservation, education, and patriotic work.

Schedule: Third Tuesday of each month, September through May
How to join
Membership is open to women 18 and older who can document lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution. Membership details are on the chapter website.
