Buckroe Improvement League

A nonprofit civic organization working to improve the quality of life of the Buckroe neighborhood in Hampton and to protect its historic and recreational character. It runs beach cleanups, a Fourth of July bicycle parade, and school supply and food drives, and works with city officials on neighborhood planning. The city places it in Neighborhood District 6. Membership is open to anyone, at fifteen dollars a year for an individual and twenty-five for a family or a business.
