Cat Adoption and Rescue Efforts (CARE)

An all-volunteer, foster-based nonprofit that rescues cats and kittens from area shelters, provides veterinary care and spay/neuter, and places them in adoptive homes. Has rescued over 8,000 cats since it was founded in 2001; has no shelter and no paid staff.
