Climax Ruritan Club

Ruritan club serving Climax in Pittsylvania County. Has held the annual Sorghum Festival at the Climax Elementary School Building for nearly 40 years, celebrating the fall tradition of making sorghum molasses from local sugar cane. Ruritan is a rural and small-town service organization founded in Holland, Virginia in 1928, built on fellowship, goodwill and community service.
