Clinch Mountain Militia Chapter, SAR

Tazewell chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution, part of the Virginia Society. Organized in 2001. Named for Clinch Mountain and the Overmountain Men militia of King's Mountain. Draws membership from Tazewell County and the Bluefield area. Members preserve Revolutionary history through grave markings, color guard ceremonies, and youth awards.
How to join
Membership is open to men 18 and older who can document lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution. Details are on the website.
