A Richmond-area chapter of the National Society Children of the American Revolution, a lineage youth society for descendants of people who aided the cause of American independence. Members study Virginia and U.S. history and take part in patriotic, historical, and community service activities.

How to join
Open to any boy or girl under 22 who is a lineal descendant of a Revolutionary War-era patriot; National Society C.A.R. application fee is $15 plus $20/year dues.
