Colonel Charles Lynch Chapter, NSDAR

Altavista chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, part of District III of the Virginia state society. Organized in 1922. Named for Revolutionary War hero Colonel Charles Lynch, whose grave is at historic Avoca in Altavista. The chapter serves its community through historic preservation, education, and patriotic work.

Schedule: Second Saturday of each month, September through May
How to join
Membership is open to women 18 and older who can document lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution. Membership details are on the chapter website.
