Colonel James Wood II Chapter, SAR

Winchester chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution, part of the Virginia Society. Organized in 2007. Named Virginia SAR's best chapter nine times in thirteen years. Operates a color guard and a grave-marking program. Members preserve Revolutionary history through grave markings, color guard ceremonies, and youth awards.
How to join
Membership is open to men 18 and older who can document lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution. Details are on the website.
