Dan River Community Ruritan Club

Ruritan club serving Dan River Community in Halifax County. Supports Hunters for the Hungry, Project Lifesaver, and local schools (Scottsburg Elementary, Halifax Christian School) through community fundraisers; has won Ruritan National Gold Awards in the Environment, Community Engagement, and Citizenship and Patriotism categories. Ruritan is a rural and small-town service organization founded in Holland, Virginia in 1928, built on fellowship, goodwill and community service.
