Deep Creek Ruritan Club

Ruritan club serving Deep Creek in Chesapeake. Chartered in 1947. Delivers Christmas stockings to veterans at the Hampton VA Hospital, runs a Toys for Tots drive, and hosts a Fried Chicken Dinner, BeefFest, and an EDMARC golf tournament; celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2023. Ruritan is a rural and small-town service organization founded in Holland, Virginia in 1928, built on fellowship, goodwill and community service.
