Effinger Ruritan Club

Ruritan club serving Effinger in Rockbridge County. Operates the Palmer Community Center, including kitchen facility upgrades, and runs the annual Palmer Ice Cream Supper and Palmer Community Supper fundraisers; also coordinates parking for VMI football games. Was working toward 501(c)(3) status for the Palmer Community Center as of December 2024. Ruritan is a rural and small-town service organization founded in Holland, Virginia in 1928, built on fellowship, goodwill and community service.
