Essex Junior Woman's Club

Woman's club serving Essex County. A junior club, the federation's tier for younger adult members. Chartered in 1949. Shares its historic 1808 clubhouse (the former Essex County Clerk's Office, restored by the senior Woman's Club of Essex County starting in 1927) with that senior club. The General Federation of Women's Clubs is a volunteer service organization founded in 1890, and GFWC Virginia federates its clubs across eight districts of the Commonwealth.
