Farmville club of Lions Clubs International, part of Virginia District 24-I. Chartered in 1923. Runs an eyeglass collection and recycling program and supports Burkeville Lodge, Virginia's only camp for the blind. Members raise funds for sight and hearing care and carry out service projects in their community.
Meeting information
Schedule: 1st and 3rd Tuesdays at 12 Noon at The Woodland Community Center, Cobb Street, Farmville, VA (board meeting 2nd Tuesday at 12 Noon).
How to join
Membership is open to adults who want to serve their community; prospective members are welcome at a meeting. Details are on the club website.
