Bristol chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, part of District IV of the Virginia state society. Organized in 1924. Named for Fort Chiswell, a French and Indian War frontier outpost built about 1758. Membership of 65. The chapter serves its community through historic preservation, education, and patriotic work.

How to join
Membership is open to women 18 and older who can document lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution. Membership details are on the chapter website.
