Fort Lewis Chapter, NSDAR

Salem chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, part of District VII of the Virginia state society. Founded May 18, 1925 with 15 members; now more than 100. Named for Andrew Lewis, who drove Lord Dunmore out of Virginia. The chapter serves its community through historic preservation, education, and patriotic work.

Schedule: Second Saturday of the month, September through May, in Salem
How to join
Membership is open to women 18 and older who can document lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution. Membership details are on the chapter website.
