Fort Maiden Spring Chapter, NSDAR

Tazewell chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, part of District IV of the Virginia state society. Organized in 1924. Named for a stockade begun in 1773 by Rees Bowen; the Maiden Spring farmhouse is a National Historic Place. The chapter serves its community through historic preservation, education, and patriotic work.

Schedule: Third Wednesday afternoon of each month, September through May
How to join
Membership is open to women 18 and older who can document lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution. Membership details are on the chapter website.
