Friends of Westwood Playground

A volunteer 501(c)(3) that maintains and beautifies Westwood Playground in the historic Westwood community, founded in 1870 by descendants of formerly enslaved and freed people. The group sponsored a Virginia Department of Historic Resources marker commemorating the neighborhood in 2021.
