General Daniel Morgan Chapter, SAR

Staunton chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution, part of the Virginia Society. Organized in 2006. Named for General Daniel Morgan, hero of Saratoga and Cowpens. Won consecutive President General's Education Outreach Streamers in 2022 and 2023. Members preserve Revolutionary history through grave markings, color guard ceremonies, and youth awards.
How to join
Membership is open to men 18 and older who can document lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution. Details are on the website.
