General William Campbell Chapter, SAR

Abingdon chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution, part of the Virginia Society. Organized in 1990. Named for General William Campbell of Aspenvale, near Abingdon. Runs the Pomeroy Patriot Burials grave-marking program. Members preserve Revolutionary history through grave markings, color guard ceremonies, and youth awards.

How to join
Membership is open to men 18 and older who can document lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution. Details are on the website.
