Alexandria chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution, part of the Virginia Society. Organized in 1954. Hosts the annual July 4th March to the Tomb of George Washington at Mount Vernon. Fields a color guard with black-powder firing demonstrations. Members preserve Revolutionary history through grave markings, color guard ceremonies, and youth awards.

How to join
Membership is open to men 18 and older who can document lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution. Details are on the website.
