GFWC Appalachian Leading Ladies JWC

Woman's club serving Wise County. A junior club, the federation's tier for younger adult members. Hosts an annual haunted history walk through a downtown historic district, drawing more than four hundred visitors. The club formed in 2020 out of a mask-making effort, and has won several Southwestern District awards for its support of domestic violence programs. The General Federation of Women's Clubs is a volunteer service organization founded in 1890, and GFWC Virginia federates its clubs across eight districts of the Commonwealth.
