GFWC Tarrara Woman's Club

Woman's club serving Southampton County. Chartered in 1936. Awards $500 scholarships each year to Southampton High School graduates, takes part in the annual Boykins Christmas Parade, and helps run the Boykins Pumpkin Fest. A small club, with several members of fifty years standing. The General Federation of Women's Clubs is a volunteer service organization founded in 1890, and GFWC Virginia federates its clubs across eight districts of the Commonwealth.
